About

Artist Statement
My Current body of work invites fantasy and folklore to mingle with my evolving spiritual practice as a witch. By intertwining ritual with the fluidity of paint, needlework, and other mixed media, my pieces become something both magical and practical. Through the intuitive use of intentions, runes, and sigils, these pieces form their own symbols and myths.
Notes
Hail and well met! My name is Soup Pajeau, and I am a multidisiplinary artist currently based in Chicago, Illinois. As of May 2026, I have completed my BFA in Painting with a Minor in Drawing at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia!
I am a lover of Art History, Animals, and Fantasy. I work mostly in mixed media, favoring paint and linoleum block printing at the moment. My current work also reflects my inspiration from illuminated manuscripts and tapestries.
